INAUGURAL LIVERPOOL FILM NIGHT AWARDS 2008

Film Awards The spotlight is on Merseyside’s movie making talent as a leading panel of judges begins the difficult task of selecting the winner of the inaugural Liverpool Film Night Awards 2008 at FACT (Foundation for Art and Creative Technology).

Sponsored by Liverpool barristers Atlantic Chambers the awards provide a fantastic opportunity for emerging film makers to flourish. The awards are a culmination of the popular Liverpool Film Nights, which have been taking place at FACT for several years and get the work of Merseyside filmmakers on the big screen.

Thanks to Atlantic Chambers the winning film maker will receive £3,000 plus the use of one week’s editing facilities and hire of a high definition camera. Whilst two runners up will each receive £500.
