Jayne Hampson joins ICE as Marketing Manager having previously worked in a marketing position at Merseyside Police. Jayne will help to manage the increasing number of large contracts ICE is now winning, particularly in the arena of social marketing, stakeholder engagement background and all-round marketing and PR experience.David Shewring, a recent Masters graduate in Business Management, has also just begun a newly created marketing executive post. David has extensive experience in event management and promotion and will provide a natural bridge between ICE’s marketing and business development teams.
Heather Sewell is also to join ICE from the communications team at The Mersey Partnership. Heather takes on the role of PR Executive and will assist ICE’s growing PR team with her media relations, proof reading and copywriting skills.
Each of these appointments reflect new contract wins and a strong and steady growth curve for the agency. In the last quarter alone, ICE has won a number of major marketing, design and PR contracts, including for North Shropshire District Council, London Borough of Camden, Merseyside Fire & Rescue Service, Wirral PCT, the Department for Children Schools & Families, the National Fire College and Spar Group. The company has also just been re-awarded the Department of Health’s £2.17m ‘National Healthy Schools’ Campaign for Year Three.
During 2007 ICE more than doubled its annual turnover, growing profits from £1m in 2006 to £2.35m in 2007. This directly reflects in ICE’s team growth from 22 to 35 employees – which equates to a 60% staffing increase within the past twelve months.
