Impacts 08 is happy to announce the publication of three new reports within the research theme of Economic Impacts and Processes. Their research looks at the impact of the Liverpool European Capital of Culture award and the business community, and how it is affected by Liverpool’s ECoC activities.

New FREE place to exhibit and sell your artwork in Liverpool
The Metropolitan Cathedral is working with Open Culture to invite Visual Artists and Designer Makers to display, exhibit and sell their artwork on the Cathedral’s outdoor Piazza, on designated dates throughout the year. This includes Paintings, Photographs, Limited Edition Prints, Small Sculptures, Ceramics, Jewellery, Glass, Textiles and other similar artwork and/or crafts.

The Liverpool Sound Concert
This event has been fully sold out to the general public through the public ballot, but there are a limited number of corporate packages available, starting from £250 per person. This spectacular multi-artist concert headlined by Sir Paul McCartney, is a once-in-a-lifetime event to celebrate Liverpool’s status as the World Capital of Pop and is a highlight in Liverpool’s year as European Capital of Culture.

The Open Channel can be seen at key times within Information TV’s service on the Sky platform Channel 167, and as things develop over the course of 2008 we’re planning for these times to grow.

Get Your Guide to Liverpool '08
The official guide to Liverpool's year as European Capital of Culture 2008 is now on sale. The 202-page publication, which charts the city's year-long programme, is available for £5 at Liverpool's tourist information centres as well as Marks and Spencer's outlets across the North West of England. It will also be stocked at St George's Heritage Centre and the official Liverpool FC store in Liverpool city centre.
